Hannah Carlson completed the MSc in Nationalism Studies at the University of Edinburgh in 2018. She presented her research into direct-to-consumer genetic ancestry testing and their potential impact on multicultural conceptions of American identity at the 2019 ASEN conference. She is currently a candidate for an MSc in Applied Social Research at the University of Stirling.
