Please note if you are travelling by train that you want Loughborough station in Leicestershire. Loughborough Junction is a different station, found in London.

By train

Loughborough train station is on the Midland Main Line from London and is approximately two miles from the university. We recommend buying tickets in advance as trains can be expensive if you buy your tickets on the day. The London terminus is St Pancras International.

The Kinchbus Sprint bus runs from the train station through the town centre and onto the university.

By air

East Midlands Airport

The nearest airport to Loughborough University is East Midlands, at about seven miles away. A bus runs every twenty minutes from the airport to Loughborough, operated by Kinchbus.

Birmingham International Airport

Birmingham International Airport is about sixty miles away. To travel by train to Loughborough, you will need to change at Birmingham New Street and Derby.

Heathrow Airport

Take the Piccadilly underground line from Heathrow to St Pancras and then the train direct to Loughborough. We do not recommend the Heathrow Express, as it only runs to Paddington station.

Gatwick Airport

Take the Thameslink train to St Pancras and then the direct train to Loughborough. We do not recommend the Gatwick Express, as it only runs to Victoria station.

London City Airport

Take the DLR to Stratford International and then the train to St Pancras, followed by a direct train to Loughborough.

Luton Airport

Take a shuttle bus from the airport to Luton Airport Parkway train station. Take the train to Kettering and change for Loughborough.

Stansted Airport

Take the Stansted Express train to Tottenham Hale. Change to the Victoria line on the Underground and go to St Pancras, followed by a direct train to Loughborough.

By car

We do not recommend travelling to the conference by car. If you do choose to drive, there are five municipal car parks in Loughborough. There is limited visitor carparking at the university itself; please go to the main entrance on Epinal Way and speak to security for directions.
